In April 2012, we expect that our newbuilding vessel Merweriver will be sailing. The most important data of this vessel:
The ship can be used worldwide and has a tonnage of 4030 tonnes Dwt, with a maximum length of 90 meters. In the hold, the ship is available for all bulk cargoes including grain cargo and cargo IMO. To make the ship more versatile, it has a full tweendeck. The accommodation is on the rear portion of the vessel. That means that project cargo can be placed to a length of 76 meters on deck of the vessel. Total deck area for project cargo will be an area of 2163 m2. By applying a Void space under the bridge, the ship has a better line of sight relative to sister vessels, allowing more deck cargo to be sailed. By using an appropriate propulsion technology, a loaded speed of 11.7 knots can be achieved with a propulsion power of 1100 kW. The ship meets the NOx emissions regulations of 2015.
